Your first session is a relaxed conversation where we discuss what brought you to therapy, your goals, and what you’re hoping for. There’s no pressure to share everything right away—we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable.
You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people seek therapy to better understand themselves, improve relationships, navigate transitions, or break unhelpful patterns. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply curious about personal growth, therapy may be a helpful next step.
The length of therapy varies depending on your goals and needs. Some people find short-term therapy helpful for specific concerns, while others choose longer-term work for deeper exploration and growth. We’ll regularly check in and adjust our approach together.
My work is attachment-based, trauma-informed, and psychodynamic, with a collaborative focus. This approach helps you understand how past experiences and relationships shape your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while providing a safe, supportive space to build insight, self-compassion, and lasting change. When working with children and teens, I also use a family systems approach to support the entire family.
I provide therapy for children, adolescents, teens, individual adults, and couples. I support concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism, grief, self-esteem, relationship challenges, parenting, perinatal and postnatal mental health, infertility, and life transitions.
Yes. I offer secure telehealth sessions for clients who prefer online therapy or need greater flexibility.
I am in-network with some insurance plans, including, Aetna, Anthem BCBS, Cigna, Optum, and UHC and out-of-network with others. If I am not in-network with your plan, you may still be able to use your out-of-network benefits.
Insurance coverage varies by plan. I encourage clients to contact their insurance provider to understand their mental health benefits.
If I’m out-of-network with your plan, you would pay for sessions at the time of service. Many clients are able to use their out-of-network benefits for partial reimbursement.
I provide a superbill for all out of network clients, which is a detailed receipt that includes the information insurance companies typically require for reimbursement. You would submit this directly to your insurance company, typically through an online portal or by mail. Reimbursement amounts vary by plan and are determined by your insurer, including any out-of-network deductibles or benefit limits.
If navigating insurance feels confusing, we can talk through your options during a consultation so you can decide what feels right for you.
Each therapy session is 50 minutes. Self-pay sessions are $150 per session, or you can use your insurance and pay your copay amount based on your plan. I’m happy to help you confirm coverage or answer questions about payment options.
